Yay.
I just submitted my first ever deviantART deviation.
So proud of myself.
Especially since I started a deviantART account in 2007 and haven't uploaded anything in it until now.
=D

I'll definitely submit more.
But it'll have to depend on my mood, no?

Going to church every week is such a great comfort.
And such a difference from school.
In school, everyone speaks broken English.
Including the lecturers, of all people.
But in church the spoken English used is rather precise.
A pleasant change from listening to grammatically wrong English every other day of the week.
Which is probably the reason why my standard of spoken English is gradually decreasing.
That's rather disturbing to know, isn't it.

Another difference is that most people in church speak English.
Or rather, they tend to speak more English in church.
As compared to school, where most people speak Chinese.
Or have a tendency to add Chinese words/ sentences every so often.

Listening to grammatically correct English is sweet music to my ears.
Seriously.
The lecturers in TP's Applied Science School should seriously go for English lessons.
Another thing about TP is that even the printed English can be incorrect sometimes!
Sure, no one's perfect,
But at least make an effort to correct the English that is printed out for all to see!
Imagine what foreigners will think about Singapore's standard of English.

Okay I know my English isn't perfect.
But who says I'm not trying?
My resolution for this year is to speak proper English.
I can do it!

Oh, my other resolution?
To not be late when meeting people.
I can do it!
I hope.
Heh.
