Just now as I was walking off
I was thinking of calling someone.
I really needed someone to talk to.
The first person that came to my mind
Was obviously Tanya.
Then I realized she had school.
The the second person I thought of
Was, surprisingly,
Kelvin.
I wonder why.

I really want someone to talk to.

I realized that I'm usually the one who organizes outings, or asks people out.
Hardly anyone takes the initiative to message me.
Or to ask me out.
I'm usually the one who does that.
Does that mean no one bothers?
Or am I trying too hard?
Yesterday I told myself not to initiate messages with anyone today.
And this morning, when I checked my phone,
There was a message.
From Victoria.
Vic, thanks.
That random message really made my day.
For that little while, anyway.
